New York-based Photographer Fernando Colón began his professional career in 1998 as staff Photographer for a monthly print magazine in San Juan, Puerto Rico. His work included celebrity portraits and was published from 1998-2000 (EnPunto Magazine). In 2000 he entered into contract with Public Relations firm Wing Latino Group/West Indies & Grey, to cover sporting events, concerts, and fashion shows.
He established permanent residence in New York City (2001) and focused his work on Fashion. 2003 saw his first exposure to (three) New York Fashion Week shows at Bryant Park. Runway Photography has been a passion ever since and has led to numerous photo coverage in New York (Women's & Men's collections), NY Bridal Market, Miami (Swim Week), and European shows (Milan, Paris). His runway, backstage/atmosphere, and lookbook images are commissioned by designers and media publications.
